The 8 hour Diet-Drawbacks,benefits of the Diet for 2015!

This is a great diet. But like all diets, its tough. I like it though, because instead of strictly worrying about what you are eating, you worry about timing. And yes, timing is everything. Here are the steps to this diet, explained also in my video blog which I will post a link to as well.  This video has had over 5000 hits and counting, so It might be worth it to check it out. Here is the link. The 8 hour diet breakdown8 Hour Diet Breakdown
1)Eat between the hours of 10am-6pm, the hardest times are in between these points. In the morning you'll crave food and coffee and water in General. Drink the water it will flush out the toxins. And after 6 you will crave sugary snacks and deserts. Its all about the timing.
2)eat high quality food-you can eat the junk and not gain weight, but the good nutrients will make you feel better, so start adding high quality food.
3)In the morning you will have a headache, take some advil if it gets to fast. (upon Dr.'s order ofcoarse) and move on. Try this for a few days and you will be amazed.
4)Have a cheat day, this will help you build up some extra stores to fight the battle the next week. Saturday's is a good day to do this.
5)If you fall of the diet, keep moving forward, the Psychology is if you fall of, you get right back up and get back on it. This is how you will win.
My progress so far!

Why Ninja 3 the domination is the greatest Ninja Movie of all time

There out there!

Movies that just far surpass anything else! This was the movie. Released in the late 80's

Sho Kosugi

was at his Ninja peak. He made more Ninja movies than anyone else. And was paid the best, out of all the Ninja actors. HE could do it all, had serious street cred, and loved his job so much, he brought his son into the business. Sho's movies had a serious element to them, and took a lot of the chop sockey showmanship out of the genre. In

Ninja 3

he used every available tool, to create an air of seriousness with the character. For instance, 1.swords vs guns (you had to include the most current weapons, against traditional weapons and show that tradition Ninja weapons could compete. 2. Helicopters-he added scenes with stunts going to and from helicopters. 3.Used traditional weapons in scenes to give it more traditional value. Every weapon was given a scene, the Ninja toe, blowgun, throwing stars, grappling hook, the kasa gatari. The only drawback was the demon possession scenes. It was hard for the main actress to pull that off. And show did more stunt coordination, and more work behind the scenes than on. He also double a few times for the grey Ninja at the beginning of the movie. Over all this is one of the best Ninja movies of all time, so go check it out. Ninja 3: the Domination.

What I learned about Sugar in The Shower

Its getting easier

and easier. Everyday, I try to find more and more ways to reduce the amount of sugar in my diet. As Dr. Oz said, "There is no such thing as a little sugar". As everyone knows, or should know by now. Sugar causes, heart disease, weight gain, Diabitees, stroke, and many other things not yet diagnosed. And its in everything, from Pasta sauce, to creamers, and things you wouldn't even suspect. SO the other day, on one of my low sugar and caffeine days. My wife called and offered to get me a dessert from Steak and shake. Ofcoarse I could not refuse. So she brings home a salted caramel shake, with all of the trimmings. I quickly devoured this shake, warning myself, that if I ate it all it would equal a pound or two the next day. But I learned an even deeper lesson as I stepped into the shower............When I got in and the water was whirling all around me my hands becamse softer and softer, and my sense of touch more numb, and unresponsive. As I kept showering applying soap to different places I realized I was on sugar overload. That's right, my body had begun, based on the reduction to this white powdery masterpiece, started to change the way I (my body)responds to sugar. I wsa in a haze! And I though wow this is crazy. But I learned several things that faithful night. 1.Sugar desensitized 2.It spikes the blood stream 3. It distorts taste 4.The body becomes a slave to it 5.The mind makes sugar its clock 6.And to stay away from it late at night When useing sugar on a regular bases, it causes the body to crash. When useing it every once in a while it throws the body into overload. And tries to cover all sensations, and thinking by overload. Sugar has always wanted to be the master of the domain, instead of a court jester playing to an empty theater.

How to replace Bad food with good food! Todays blogs primary focus, is to replace what you are currently eating right now, with something better. And begin a long education for your body, on what makes it feel good, instead of bad. A doctor once told me that if I could quit the sugar, that my body would begin to forget how much it loved it. And now after reducing the sugar that I intake drasticly within the last week. I think he was right. Here are some ideas for replacing bad food with good food. Your strategy should be to feed yourself first. The good food that is, and let the bad food begin to play runner up. Set your snack times everyday to focus on a good food. Everyday at 10:30 I have an avocado. Every day. I take a knife and cut it in half, spoon out the core, and use the knife to cut along the edges and scoop the avocado out with the spoon. At 2:30 I boil a couple of eggs and combine those with a can of Tuna. I've been eating this stuff for a while, and so far I'm not bored. Believe it or not. And my body is responding very well. My shoulder which has been a mess for years, has begun to heal. Thats a pretty good start to something this new in my life. My immune system has improved, lost weight, have more energy and on and on. I'll keep you posted on what happens. Continue to read my other blogs on the 8 hour diet, and the slow carb movement. 10:30 am focus on a healthy snack, for me its the low carb avocado 2:30 pm focus on a good can of tuna (high protein) and two eggs, eat good low carb meals throughout the day, and throw out the junk food. The Slow Carb movement and how it can help you lose those pounds!

Strategies for enhancing the slow carb diet! The easiest thing for me to do, is do the slow carb diet during the day. I get up, and have a cup of coffee, then a five egg omelet. At 10:30 I have a snack. And by noon I'm having lunch. My challenge is what my wife cooks for dinner. She doesn't quite get all of this carb non sense. But cooks very nutritous vegetarian meals. And tasty at that. So I have a plan. If she makes a meal with excess carbs, I.e (bread, sugar, carbohydrates) I put a specific workout program together to brun off (to the best of my ability) the excess carbs. The carbs will give you naturally, the energy to have the workout. As if your running on pure protein for muscle, you work out at about 75 percent of your maximum, regular day workout. Its a good plan. Here's the strategy: 1.Breakfast eat your regular meal 2. Mid morning snack (Regular meal) 3. Lunch (reg) 4. Afternoon snack 5. dinner (whatever is cooked eat) 6.Evening workout (plenty of cardio, as this will help to burn off the excess carbs) This gives you a what if, counter if you can't quite get your spouse to go along with your diets. Enjoy!

The one thing you can do to change your whole Diet process, and begin losing weight long term. This is a pretty simple idea, yet a great one. "Change the way you relate to food, and also change the way you relate to Carbohydrates." You could install proteins there, or fat, but they don't quite encompass sugar, the way that carbs do. Simply begin substituting your bodies absorbption of sugar, and it could be a game changer. IN the morning kick start your day with eggs, beans, tomatoes or oatmeal. Every day. 33% of your weekly meals will change if you eat three meals a day. Spiking your sugars early in the day, stifle your bodies fat burners. You want to burn fat all day long? Begin cutting the sugar. For lunch enjoy beans, spinach, lentils, tuna. Anything that has less carbs. When I tried acompanying diets, I found fat the hardest thing to cut. And the sugar causes diabitees, heart disease, high blodd pressure, gallbladder issues, bowel issues, and on and on! Change the way you relate to food (sugar or Carbohydrates) specifically and you will begin to notice a diffence. Check out my other blogs on these topics. The 8 hour diet, slow carb movement, and this one ofcoarse. And my youtube channel, Melodylaneinn. Thanks for reading this post.

The slow carb movement-how controlling how you eat can help you lose massive weight!

The slow Carb Movement-I call it the slow carb movement, as I believe this is a way of eating, not a diet. Its a strategy, just like the 8-hour diet. Yes, you are leaving things out of your diet. Sugar, Calories, bread, all kinds of things. But its something you could incorporate in your way of eating, that can help your body, and help you feel better. When the body ingests sugars, it does so many things, that it reminds me of the phrase DR Oz coined. "There is no such thing as a little sugar" and he was right. Sugar is bad for you period. On this diet, start your day with tomatoe Omelet. Choose the best oil for you. I use vegtable oil, as I am a vegetarian. But Olive is good as well. And use about 4 or 5 egss. For a snack at 10:30 am I eat an avocado. For Lunch I have beans, spinach, and maybe a tomatore. For a snack before dinner I have a can of tuna. While I do this during the week I have very minimal amounts of sugar. What has happened so far: 1. I've lost four pounds so far! 2.

I drink more water

3. I have better focus and more energy. 4. what hair I have is thicker. 5. My immune system is healing my body faster, I sleep better. 6. And finally I just feel better over all.
If you want these things and want to lose wieght, try this diet. Here's whats included. Any kind of beans, eggs, spinach, tomatoes, vegtables, black coffee, tuna, meat. Give it a shot and reap the rewards. I'll be adding a link to my blog about this way of eating very soon. Have a great day!

Battle of the Diets!-Slow Carb vs the 8 hour diet-who will win?

The eight hour diet is all the rage. But isn't it more of a technique than an eating strategy. Lets face it, on the eight hour diet you 1) eat only eight hours a day 2) Try to pack as much nourishment as possible in between those eight hours 3) seems to lay claim to lower heart attack rates, and diabitees 4) and lowers the bad cholesteral The strategy is to only consume food between 10am-6pm. To eat what you like and give your body the time to burn off the excess reserves during the night time, upping your internal furnase, so that calories are burned by 10am and throughout the day. The Slow carb movement I've been doing this one lately and have been very impressed. 1) lowers the sugar counts in your blood stream, as protein is mostly whats consumed 2) Beans, meat, spinach, lentils, peas, and very low amounts of fruit 3)no bread, sugary drinks, starchy things, candy. 4)you can eat all you want. Results: My first day on this I literally lost two pounds. Which was impressive considering my weight was going up. My energy and immune system has improved, and this diet gets my vot for best choice. Combing these two diets, and the sky could be the limit, and your body a fat burning furnace. Check out my blog at
